Jeffrey A. Halfaker, 68, of Wentzville Missouri, passed away on January 14th, 2023, from a cardiopulmonary arrest. He was vacationing in South Padre Island Texas with his wife, his F150 and his new RV. His dream was to travel across America in the RV.
Jeff was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by many lives he touched. Those who knew him are sad he is gone but happy he is at home and pain free. We will always love and miss him until we can meet again.
He was born in born May 16, 1954, and graduated Francis Howell High School in 1972 where he enjoyed playing football for the Vikings. He loved playing football and anxiously awaited each reunion to reunite with his friends, team members and coaches. Swing dancing was also a passion; even becoming an instructor. His final passion was traveling in his RV to countless places in America.
After high school he worked as a collision technician for most of his life eventually owing his own collision repair shop in O’Fallon, Missouri. Later in life Jeffrey became a handy man where he found many people needing his service. He also worked with Bret, his brother, installing heating and air conditioning units. Needless to say he was talented in that area.
Jeffrey was survived by Cheryl Halfaker (wife), Ernest Halfaker (father), Bret and Sally Halfaker (brother and wife), Jennifer and Ed Burkett (daughter and husband), Catherine Malloy (daughter) Eric and Tiffany Martin (step-son and wife), Lou and Ann Marie Halfaker (uncle and aunt), Maria Halfaker (Aunt), and numerous grandchildren, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and other assorted family and many caring friends.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by Norma Halfaker (mother), Nedra Halfaker (step mother), and Tom Halfaker (uncle).
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
