Viking Football

One week after the Viking defeat suffered at the hands of the Eureka Wildcats, Francis Howell rallied and overthrew the Fort Zumwalt Panthers.

September 30 saw the game in which, on Zumwalt’s home ground, Tom Gallagher, Viking tackle [end], intercepted a Panther pass.  After a 22 yard run, he scored the only touchdown of the game.  The final score was Vikings 6; Panthers 0.

On October 7 the Francis Howell Football Vikings met the Wentzville Indians on Soby Field and were defeated 18-13.
